Located in the Campo De Ourique neighbourhood - one of Lisbon's most desirable residential communities - you will find yourself in a quiet yet lively family friendly area. A nearby park (Jadim Da Parada) comes to life in the evenings and on weekends, and the streets are filled with up and coming chefs, food vendors, and restaurants that have perfected Portuguese cuisine. Or, if you are looking for something more educational, the National Museum of Ancient art and the Museum of Natural History are only a short distance away.

You will also be connected to a series of public transport lines - including the popular Tram 28 - that can take you across Lisbon with ease.

The Lisbon NFH Residence
ELevation_Lisbon-01.jpg

Our Lisbon NFH contains a variety of units to accommodate a larger demographic of family types. Some units are able to convert from 2 bedroom into 3 bedroom units, and a handful of studio units allows for family members who may not wish to share a unit with the rest of the family, to have their own space. The organization of the plan optimizes views both into the courtyard, and well as to the street. Large folding walls turn your balcony into an extension of your living room, allowing indoor-outdoor living during appropriate months, bringing plenty of fresh air into the units, and optimizing on solar gain during the cooler seasons.

Best Time to Visit Lisbon

March-May

Spring is the best time to avoid large tourist crowds. While there is a higher chance of rain, there are highs of 60-70F, and lows of 45-50F. Ensure you have layers for the unpredictable weather at this time!

Mild spring weather can also be ideal for exploring the city's seven hills by foot.

June-August

As with most of Europe, summer is Lisbon's high season, and its packed with Tourists and activities. With hot temperatures reaching above 80, you can be sure to hit the beach as often as you heart desires.

September-October

Similar to the spring, fall is less expensive and less crowded than summer. By October, temperatures begin to drop into the low 60s and high 50s, so be sure to pack your windbreaker.

November-February

Much of Lisbon's lure is in its walkability, but be ready for the rainy days durring this season. It may not be all that cold, but you may need the right equipment (dont worry, our rental shop is there to help!). Between November and February are typically Lisbon's wettest, but is an ideal time to move to Lisbon due to reduced flight costs.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Having so many families living here to share our experiences has been absolutely life changing! I feel I have made some life-long friends, and continue to gain new perspectives on humanity.

We love doing international breakfasts with the other families here; the vast amount of open shared space really gives us and our kids the chance to connect.

Thank goodness for the rental shop. It seems like they know everything we families need and its so simple to rent what I need - whether it be an umbrella or kids sports equipment!
